Job Duties:
Maintains facility in a clean and safe condition, as required by County Health Department Standards
Maintains appropriate level of inventory, supplies, and equipment
Performs minor maintenance as needed
Maintains a high standard of safety and cleanliness in the facility
Reports any damage or necessary facility repairs to school administrator
Operates machinery and equipment in a safe manner
Monitors emergency equipment and knows the location of all major utility shutoff switches and valves
Assists maintenance crews, as required
Uses positive, effective interpersonal communication skills
Prepares, maintains, and submits reports in a timely fashion, as required
Performs related work consistent with the goals and objectives of the position
Responds in emergency situations as required
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Reports To: Dean, Business Office

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Cornerstone Preparatory Academy's Support Staff Evaluation Rubric.
Requirements
**This is for an anticipated full-time custodial position for the upcoming, 2026-2027 Academic Year. The start and end date for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year is July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027. This position is anticipated to begin as early and June 1, 2026, for initial opening duties.
High School Diploma or GED
Two years of experience in custodial or related work
Successful passing of Level 2 Fingerprinting/Background Check
Valid Florida drivers license
Good health with no restrictions to perform the essential requirements of the position
About the Company
Cornerstone Preparatory Academy, Inc. is Bay County's first public Classical School that incorporates an innovative Explorers Institute program, located in Panama City, Florida. We plan to welcome students August 2026, and are currently in the Charter Application review process with the Florida Department of Education.
